Community market

The community market is held in the parish hall roughly every fortnight, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The next one is on Saturday 22nd November. Items for sale typically include home-made preserves, cakes, savouries and organic bread, home-grown vegetables and plants, Fairtade food items and bric-a-brac. To book a stall, contact us.

What the school's doing

St Merryn Primary School is a signatory to the constitution of St Merryn Climate Friendly Parish. Several of the children have formed an eco team and are hoping to raise awareness of energy use and conservation at school. The school is also embarking on an ambitious project to supply its own energy needs from a wind turbine.
